Anne E. Ake has written several books for adult and young adult audiences, as well as numerous magazine articles on the arts, people, and nature. Ake has been an editor for an arts magazine as well as published a children’s magazine. Her photography has appeared in local and regional publications. Ake received a Florida Book Award Silver Medal for Young Adult Literature in 2008. Ake lives in North Florida.
