Barbara Anton (1926-2007) was an award-winning playwright, a jewelry designer, songwriter, columnist, actress, and writing instructor at the University of South Florida. Anton established The Barbara Anton Prize for excellence in playwriting. Anton attended Antioch College, Columbia University and the Ridgewood School of Art.
