Carlene Fredericka Brennen is a newspaper editor and publisher in Southwest Florida. Brennen researched Hemingway’s life in Key West, Bimini, and Cuba for over thirty years. She also coordinated the International Hemingway Festival in Key West for three years and the First Annual Hemingway Flats Fishing Tournament on Captiva Island. Brennen co-wrote the book Hemingway in Cuba with Hilary Hemingway as well as worked on the documentary film Hemingway in Cuba.
