Eleanor Boylan (1916-2007) was a mystery writer and puppeteer. Boylan received her B.A. from College of Mount St. Vincent. Boylan wrote short stories for the Ellery Queen and Alfred Hitchcock mystery magazines. Boylan's character, Clara Gamadge first appeared in mystery writer, Elizabeth Daly's Henry Gamadge Mystery Series. Eleanor Boylan was the niece of Elizabeth Daly.
