Authors wiki!
Here you will find biographical information, book lists and web links about Florida Authors.
This wiki is a group project started by the Readers' Advisory Committee at the Southwest County Regional Library of the Palm Beach County Library System in Boca Raton, Florida.
Our goals are to be as inclusive and as accessible as possible. To that end, we are defining "Florida author" as any traditionally published writer who was born in Florida, has resided and written in Florida, currently resides in Florida, has books set in Florida, or writes about Florida. For further information, please see the Florida Authors Wiki Inclusion Standards page.

Looking for a mystery, romance, historical, or even nonfiction that is set in Florida? Check out It Takes Place in Florida for listings by genre.
Many thanks to the Lee County Library for their list of Florida authors, which was our jumping off point and inspiration.
If you are a Florida author and you are not on this list, please let us know, or you can register and add yourself. Please follow all protocols already in place. If you have any questions or are unsure how to add yourself, you can certainly send us your information and we will add you in the appropriate place.
