Laura Stewart, an art historian who studied at Barnard College, the University of Iowa and Cornell University, was cultural critic for the Rochester (NY) Democrat & Chronicle, Orlando (FL) Sentinel and Daytona Beach News-Journal. She current teaches at Daytona State College and writes for the Orlando Weekly and other regional publications, and is working on her novel, "Newsroom.The second edition of her Pineapple Press guidebook, "Historic Homes of Florida, written with Susanne Hupp, was recently published.
