Margaret Howe Bugbee has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Louisville. Bugbee has published articles for journals and newspapers, as well as written state-wide educational curriculum for Indiana and Kentucky. Bugbee has taught in middle schools, high school, and also college courses. Bugbee founded Florida Sisters in Crime and is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the Romance Writers of America.
