Piers Anthony (1934- ) is most well known for his Xanth Fantasy series. Anthony's Xanth has a lot of similarities with Florida and many of its place names are often witty variations of Florida place names. Anthony has an B.A. in creative writing from Goddard College and a teaching certificate from the University of South Florida. Anthony is a very prolific writer and has written more than one hundred books since 1967.
