Virginia Aronson is the author of more than 30 published books including nutrition texts, YA student reference guides, celebrity bios, and nature books. She has published a book about UFOs that heal and an outsider art book featuring the work of artists with psychoneurological disorders. She coauthored a cookbook with a White House chef, and wrote books with a physician triathlete, a Harvard department head, and a wildlife trapper. She also works as a ghostwriter. For the past ten years, most of Virginia's books have had a Florida theme. Her first short fiction collection is South Florida Spin. She has written books about Florida sports celebrities, environmental activists, and the many non-native animal species that thrive in subtropical Florida including pythons and iguanas. Her play about Florida's famous hot dog girls was staged in Lawrence, Kansas, and her poetry about the surreal sunshine state has appeared in dozens of literary magazines.
