How many of you use your writings as a form of therapy ?
I have always felt we should all have a way to express ourselves other than the typical ways of "social acceptance".
it means stepping outside the box sometimes.I feel writing is probably the best expression of all as it is a way for us to leave our mark after we are gone.. and it is the best therapy and least expensive we can get and no health insurance required...I use my tongue in cheek humor writings to expel a lot of frustrations and energies, besides my approach makes people think. Everyone have a "weedy" nice day..kjforce .

Your novel, Monkey Pudding
It gave me a new sense of the pain returning vets suffer on so many levels.

Books every Floridian should read
A Surf of Sparrows' Songs (1996) and The Hungry Sailor (2000 - named after the once famous, now defunct Coconut Grove club, and bouncing off Columbus) both books of poetry deal with South Florida and the history of Florida.

Florida Authors
I have a website that focuses on Florida travel off the beaten path and includes information on Florida authors, museums, theater, art, parks, history, towns, day trips, etc. Is it allowable for me to reveal the website address and request input from members?
